Gday all
I need a photo of the diagram that will be stuck on the inside of the front cover that goes around the lenses on an XG LC.
It is the sticker that tells you where to set the flapping rings for various screen sizes and projection angles.
The one inside my cover is for HD-144/HD-145 AC lenses, its now LC with HD-18 lenses and i dont know if the diagram is the same for both types.
Thanks

After you done be patient with the lens focus, especially with the corner focus. I took me one month to figure out why the right side of the green is so blurry

I am finished assembly by the way, but the green tube seems to be shot, and the blue is also arcing internally, but not much...

Sorry to hear that... the blue light is definitely a bad case of contamination, the high voltage inside the tube ionizes the gas that got inside, also the frequent arcing inside the tube imply loss of vacuum, since the vacuum has pretty good dielectric strength, air is much worse, and G-1 and G-2 are pretty much close together, lets hope the arcing didn't take out any neckboard...

No the neck boards are fine, there is still an image on both tubes, all be it very dim and very blury...
On closer inspection the blue is somewhat worse than the green.

At least...
The gas destroys the beam focus and not let to accelerate the electrons fast enough.

Got me buggered how they couldve lost their vacuum, they have no physical damage at all.

Its a dead set pain in the arse to remove the LC housings from the set compared to the AC, the ACs will slide right out, the top bracket has to be removed to get the LC housings out...

Not entirely lost, this is a very minor contamination compared of a broken tube, air gets in usually at the pins or the anode cap.

And you haven't think about how you get out the bare tubes out of the housings...
