Hi everybody,
yesterday I swapped the HVPS just to test if could get rid of very annoying arcing. In doing so I decided to run a complete reset and redo a complete setup from scratch. Well, the arcing went away (I supposed it came from the HV lead and maybe I was right) and I can't complain about the new set up (it resolves perfectly 1080p60).
There's one thing I'm not sure about: even from my seating position (about 10 feet away) I can see faint, horizontal lines, especially noticeable on white background (the screen is 16/9, 90 inches Horizontal). I wonder if those are only scanlines and I can see them as I have enhanced my set up...

What is your video chain and cable source. That could be a bad cable maybe.

I use an HTPC (i54440, Nvidia geforce 660 2GB, 8 GB ram) running Jriver mediaplayer, and MadVR video renderer (actually state of art on par with radiance). From Nvidia graphic card I go to the Moome card v3 by a 10 m (30 ft) HDMI cable (1080p48, 1080p50, 1080p60, 800p72, depending on sources).
Tried to swap cable (I have a spare one) but it's the same.
Maybe I've mess something with custom timings on Nvidia card..?

Just to be sure, I tested the HDMI cable with a 1080p TV set, and it's perfect. Looked also at custom timings on the Nvidia cards: nothing seems wrong.. It' weird... any idea?
Edit: even if I run the projector standalone (with nothing connected) I see the same Horizontal lines

Have you tried re-seating the moome card?

Ok, found it: it's a cable, just not HDMI but the power cable! Easier than I thought...

Don't know. It was not the original cable but just one I had at home. Maybe it is a bad quality cable/connector.
Anyway, switching the cable with another one get quite completely rid of the horizontal line (if I look at the screen from less then 3 feet I can still see them).
Don't know if there's a problem of electronic/electromagnetic interference inside my home. Maybe it is..

Maybe the connector of that cable was too loose for the projector.
