I found another Cine7 that no work.
It have a quad R763583.
I don't know if the quad is the issue but I would to check this quad.
Can I test it replacing the factory R7622091 in my 808 test chassis?

Ok ... the results ...

The projector start but no light from tubes.

Red led error defl. hor.
No led dim in vert. defl.

Random, after power up, the tubes show lights but for bit of seconds but no show menu, only ligth.
Then go in standby and power up in loop two or three times.
Finally go definitely in stand by with a noise (bzzzzzz) from smps board.

The row diagnostic show as picture below.
(The green led named +HTHD dim after power up but after a bit of seconds shut up).

Any suggestions?

I'd say the problem is in your H deflection circuit or in the RGB input board that has the H drive signal going to the H output board. That is giving no H deflection, which then shuts down the HTHD supply, and the set will shut down.

I have very few spare parts for the Cine 7, as most boards are not compatible with the older 708 sets, so you'd have to send me your boards for testing and/or repair.

Thank you Curt Thumbs Up

Your suggestions have encouraged me to look better and in the right places.
I found a burnt resistor in the board RGB inputs and I have replaced with a good resistor.
Now the tubes start always lit, without show the menu.
But the projector continues to going in loop three or four times before going into standby.
The both red LEDs on the deflection board is off.

It 'also changed something in the diagnostic LED.
Now all the green LEDs are lit, including + HTHD.
The remaining LEDs (STBY; HD EHT; SF; HD DEF; COINC) now are all off.

I must say that I remove the decoder board and is missing a one (of three) multipolar black cable that connect focus board to deflection board.

The new behavior of the projector perhaps gives me some confirmation.

1) The quad is good
2) The splitter is good
3) The deflection board is good

I'd say your problem now is either on the controller board or the RGB input board. If you do see light out of the tubes, then the H and V deflection is OK, at least for part of the power cycle, so the deflection board should be OK. While those resistors do burn out once in a while for no reason, a fault on either board would explain the lack of menus and the power cycling.

The previous owner has disconnected ALL cables of the projector.
With the aid of the service manual I managed to put them all in their place.
Except a little cable (bipolar) that placed in focus module in J100 connector (show in picture below).
The service manual say that this cable goes to Convergence Driver board at J102 connector.
But in Convergence driver board there are a lot of 2 pole connectors, none named J102.
Curt ... if you have a Cine7 or 708 can you say me where this cable must be connect?

Without looking at a set, there's a 2 pin connector at the top edge of the driver board that has a 2 pin yellow wire connector on it. Don't connect anything to the other 2 pin connectors that aren't on the edge of the board.

Domenico, that cable should go in J619 on the conv. driver board. There is not a J102 there, indeed. A mistake from Barco.

The orange LED (COINC) should be lit?
If I remember correctly, I think yes.
I must to check the circuitry again.

Yeah, it is ok when the coincidence LED is lit.
You need an original CM50 ceiling mount with pulley for that baby ? Very Happy

Have you one?

Now I can't lift the baby until they works.
Any suggestions for the COINC issue?

When the coincidence LED is lit, it means that the projector is locking to a signal ( external source or internal menu ), so don't worry about it. It is normal.
Yes i still have the ceiling mount from my former Cine 7. Send me a PM if you need it.

Ok but the projector should to lock the internal menu when it power up.
mmmhhh
Perhaps, as Curt said, there's a issue in the controller.

Those seven-wire connection should all three be there for a fully functional projector.
From focus to deflection:
J20 ----> J4
J30 ----> J5
J40 ----> J6

Incorrect Hulio, those wires are only for the H shift control. They don't need to be there for an image out of the projector. you can also pull out the whole convergence/driver section in one piece, and the set will show an image without them.

It's a problem on the controller or RGB board.
