Looks like mid-$300's for the newer 555 ii that I'd want, which is cheaper than I remember. But, that's still about $300 more for the three amps I needed, and with no guarantees that a guy wouldn't have more trouble since these amps are starting to get pretty old.
Almost forgot… The other reason I started looking at pro-sound amps in the first place is that I switched to a preamp with balanced XLR's. I have no intention of going back to unbalanced. I also LOVE the speakON connectors for the speaker wires. They're SO much nicer, cleaner, and professional looking than banana plugs. It's not a big deal, but every time I start looking at older amps, I start thinking about how I could mod the crap out of them to include speakON.
