First of all, Curt, and everyone else, THANK YOU.
You have been absolutely wonderful.
Now, I am 95% of the way to completion.
The final glitch is in the Rastar system.
I get to the point where the projector is supposed to throw the image of each lens on the internal system (look in the lens to complete alignment) and, for some reason, while it SAYS the images are there, I get nothing.
Has anyone ever had his problem?
I love you all forever, and yes, the Barco 808s rocks my socks.

Shelley

No on screen display? If so, youve got raster, just no image within the raster.

So, given that, how do I get back the rastar image so I can set the vguns up properly?
I should note, the guns work fine.

The raster is there or youd have no on screen display. Try a different resolution.

Thank you.
That I know how to do.
Likely messing with it (adjusting for the best picture with a super-beta VCR was not something I should have done).
It worked fine on playback but I'll restore he resolution for the re-installation.
The last thing I want to do is screw up the guns.

I think you mean that you're supposed to see the raster on the tube face? Contrast turned down, brightness at 100?

If it's not there, just skip that step for now. Jump to the next step. Chances are the raster is set just fine, it's something that rarely needs to be changed.

Update:
Now I have a calibrated line in the rastar adjustment screen.
Even though the manual says it should be a rectangle.
I assume it must be set to dead center on the line.
Also note:
Only greeen, not red or blue.
The text is still reversed.
