I have a Panasonic TH42PZ70EA, mine was broken when i got it. 7 times blink too.
there is a row of 14 mosfets on the sc board.

yes, same thing. i glued a large flat heatsink over all mosfets, they get too warm during operation.
Paid 30€ for the TV itself, spend 4h on searching the net and finding the mosfet... 2,50€ replacement mosfet.
32,5€ and i got a full hd plasma with a very very nice picture.
I love people selling scrap over ebay 
There is a 10 blink issue mine got too.
Don't know what this normally should be, mine had a loose connector.
Maybe someone finds this helpful.
