I know this is a broad question, but I saw someone in another post talking about how easy Barco projectors are to set up versus Marquees.

What are the best aspects of each projector? (SONY, BARCO, ELECTROHOME, etc.)

I think its a matter of perspective. I have 2 sonys, dozen barcos and one electrohome and to me easiest to set up were sonys, easiest to diagnose and swap parts=barcos---the marquee is by far the easiest to make better and do mods to, and its supposedly the most reliable one, dunno if thats true or not.

The NECs for example has probably the most comprehensive convergence system, the steps are fine and you have a lot of adjustments to play with, not to mention the point convergence which has almost 200 points of adjustments. Also All NEC projector came with color filtered lenses, so they are somewhat more usable for HT applications "out of the box".
The NEC PG xtra has probably the best size/performance ratio.

AmPro projectors are very slim, so they are working fine with low ceilings.

Dwin projectors are the most silent (though they are still ES sets)
