Hi guys,

I'm thinking about the position of my 1292.
The data are :
- screen : H56" (141cm), W99" (251cm), diag 113"(288cm).
- center of screen from ground : 64" (161cm).

PJcalc dimensions with 13,6 (default) throw angle :

For the ground to center of screen dimension, I obtain 109,7cm. There is a lack of circa 51cm to 161cm.

PJcalc dimensions with 17,7 (the maximum with 1292) throw angle :

I obtain 135,8cm. Now the lack is circa 25cm.

Does it mean that with this configuration I just have to heighten my PJ of 25cm to obtain good installation conditions?
My question is maybe stupid...

Thanks for your advices.

Bye!

Hello Tim,

No, I can't... It's a painted screen.

I would sit in my seat and find the spot where the PJ is not in the way of the image on the bottom of the screen.

And mount it about an inch loser than that spot.

Hi Nashou,

The empirical method ; I agree with you. Do you think that I can begin with solution 2 as start basis?
I want to think about the support of the PJ before its installation in my dedicated room... A 8" support would allow easier and more attractive installation than a 19-20" one...

Regards.

Pjcalc is not quite accurate, if you want to use more surface area of the tubes shrink by 10 percent. The best way it to try

Hi kabuby,

Ok, thanks.
As soon as the fan mod will be done, I'll make some projection tests.

Regards.
