I just picked up a PS3 last week and I am unsure about the video settings.
I found this list of recommended settings for the PS3 but I'm not exactly sure this is correct for watching movies on the PS3 which is it's primary use in my home. My setup is as follow: PS3, --> HDMI Switch ---> HD Fury--->NEC Switcher--->PG10 setup for 1080i. My audio is linked via optical cable to my Marantz SR19 receiver.

Video Settings

BD Internet: "Allow"
BD/DVD Cinema Conversion: "Automatic"
BD/DVD Upscaler: "Normal"
BD/DVD Video Output Format (HDMI): "Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr" for TVs, "RGB" for PC Monitors
BD 1080p 24Hz Output: "Automatic"
BD/DVD Dynamic Range Control: "Off"
BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI): "Linear PCM"
BD/DVD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital): "Bitstream"
Display Settings

RGB Full Range (HDMI): "Limited"
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI): "On"
Sound Settings

Audio Output: Varies/Automatic

Does this look correct for use with at CRT projector?

Thanks!

John

ps....wish I purchased a PS3 sooner. This thing interfaces quite nicely with my media server.

Also you may not get a picture if that's an HDFury1. The HDFury1's couldn't drive a long cable. They were meant for 6-12" cables on the output side.

Which PS3 do you have? 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen?

OK...so far so good. I'm already setup with RGB and no 24hz. Basically the exact same settings I was using with my Sony BDP-S550 player.

How about the Full Range and Super White settings?

I think it's a 4th generation. CECH-3001A.

Try both. I imagine full range and super white are 0-255 range
