I like the 70's and 80's music
Of course I have a 79 Chrysler cordoba that was built in Canada (currently restoring and will start a thread in the off topic section as soon as I am done)
I miss driving that big land boat of a car(I pity a compact car owner should they hit it) (small car go crunch)
Too bad the fuzzy dice is getting harder to find they would go prefect with the car

Have anyone ever played with lenses, different lenses, and different kind of glycol/ coolant liquid.?
I have some idea that the more glycol in the sides also helps pushing the fucus.. Or is that toally waco.?

Lens maybe glycol no
Gylcol couldn't affect the focus just the lens(unless the glycol needed replacing)

I seen some old threads, and it seems like it is of importance whats in the chambers, if not why not just put alcohol.. Isopropylalcokol or something like that, its also transparent, and as i understand its not pure glycol we use.
I dont know anything about the matter, but it seems to me that the glycol i bought last time was some sort of mix.
So what you say is that the glycol have no other effect than cooling purpose, and as long its new and clean it has no effect on the image, or the light passing it.?

I think it's important to have the correct fluid inside the LC housings because using an other fluid will change the Refractive index.

And what happens with the rafractive index when the distance the light travels is not the same all over the image.?
And what effect do the refractive index have on the image in general, whats the difference on screen with different values, different liquids.?

No idea but i can only assume the designers of the HD10 optics did know about the refractive index
Also, why glycol? It's unhealth and corrosive , couldn't they use another clear liquid which was not as dangerous?
