Got a "new" G70 and got it dialed in for DVD with a DVI connection direct from my Oppo. Now I've added Uverse box connecting thru a Dynex switch to component inputs on the prj. Focus is out of whack for this input. I need help getting this dialed in. Anybody local? I'm in Palo Alto area. Thanks

not so much. The image is focused in some areas and not in others. This is particularly noticeable watching for example ESPN on Uverse where the image in the center of the screen appears fairly well focused, but the "ticker" language at top and/or bottom of screen is clearly not in focus. In fact even gets hard to read as you go to the corners of the screen. The effect is more pronounced on the right side than the left.

The DVD is dialed in pretty nice, focus-wise, and this is pretty bad... so I'm urprised that (apparently) I need to do a ground-up re-focus for component inputs (?!) and I don't want to touch it lest I destroy the DVD setting.

DVI is over input B (RGB) and component is over input A if memory serves me. MAG focus could be off for that input/scan frequency. But I think the real issue is you haven't setup memory block #9 the component input , input A.
