I've been thinking of upgrading my AVR for a long time, so depending on the price, I'm interested in a working one. I'll send you a PM.

Ok, I have been talking with my supplier and we are going to change things up a little.

First, we will have international shipping. We are looking to see if there are any quantity issues.

Hopefully we will have model numbers available to choose from but we don't want to get stuck with the cheaper ones after everyone wants the better ones. So we will probably be offering sales in groups of 2. You choose a better one and will then get a 2nd cheapie. But, this is how I usually buy since I can usually use the cheapie to repair the better one, especially if they are similar makes. I just recently repaired 3 better grade ones using 1 cheapie one for all 3.

Just to give you and idea, the cheapie ones will probably only be around 20 some dollars.

What I have seen of the list so far these are all newer ones with HDMI but he wants me to hold off on the list for a day or 2 since he is not finished.

But, if you have a make and model in mind let me know and I can see if we have it.

I may have posted this already but makes appear to be Denon, Onkyo, Pioneer, Sony, Samsung and some others.

I will also post some of what I have for sale in the for sale section and I am going to super cut the prices for people here.

So let me know what you would like. And for some of you that have contacted me already and have not made your mind up, let me know cause I don't want to sell 1 that we talked about until I have your answer. Very Happy

This is just now. Nice, bright, sunshiny day, and it's 1.4 degrees. It's Iowa, so of course there's wind with that (in Iowa, the wind doesn't blow, it sucks), so -9 with windchill. -3 raw temp tonight. Last week, it went from almost 60 during the day (which is crazy warm for here), to five below zero and windy for a windchill of -20. Nearly 80 degrees in just over 12 hours.

Getting really sick of this cold crap, so the wife and I are very seriously considering a move to a slightly more temperate part of the country—west to avoid this bull**** Canadian air. We like and will stay with the four seasons, but "Arctic" is the one season I'm just really not interested in experiencing any longer.

This cold weather is the perfect time to be working on a nice AVR to either sell and make some money or upgrade your current old POC. Laughing Thumbs Up

Once the weather starts getting nice I'm done with electronics again for the summer. I already bought this summers toy so I am ready. I've noticed that as I get older my toys become more expensive and larger. Very Happy

It's in the driveway but it's to cold to go out to take a picture. But it is similar to this, just a different model. The worst part about it is climbing that ladder steps every time you want to get in or out.

Well there is no short answer here but I'll try to make it short as possible. Everything I buy is to make a profit on. But when I need something for some projects I try to search for the best possible deal for it so when I'm done I will still make money off it later. And with something this large, I did not want something I had to work on so it had to have almost no problems. If I break it during use then that's a different story.

I bought it for 2 main projects. As I have said before we live on 30 some acres in country NE Pa.. Land is rolling hills and some woods with fruit trees and berry bushes. I love living here and try to improve life style. Property has been in my family back to my great, great grandparents into the late 1800's. So I try to retain it.

We have a golf cart and enjoy taking rides around the property every day (when warmer) and I keep paths cut with lawn mower. This makes the land accessible and not just sitting there with areas you never see for years. Now the wooded area is nice a peaceful with a beaver pond and a nice stream running through it. But because of the terrain you can not get to it with the golf cart. So I want to make a pathway around the perimeter of that area and to the water. But this needs some large fallen trees moved but also needs a lot of fill dirt. So the next problem was where to get the fill dirt, I didn't want to just start digging out a bank for dirt as it disrupts the property outlay.

SO, seeing how we have a garden every year and with the difficulties with the weather on the crops we are looking at constructing and underground garden with just the roof being of greenhouse style. You can google them. Right off the back of the house the land slopes upward and would be an ideal location. So I would dig that area out for the underground garden and use the fill for the woods project. But the distance to move the dirt is quite a bit so we also bought a 28,000 lb, dump truck to move it.

Fun projects, no?

Very cool! Playing with heavy equipment - very cool. Playing with it on your own 30 acres - even cooler! Playing with it on the land that's been in your family for five generations - the coolest!

You know, that answer is even starting to scare me a little, LOL. Laughing

This was my first purchase that required me to have to hire someone else to pick it up and bring it to me because of licenses and permits and such for transportation. We have an equipment trailer but was nowhere near capable of this size piece. And wouldn't you know it but I found someone, close by to boot, who was very reliable and I almost fell over when he told me how "CHEAP" is was going to cost. So he is making it easier for me to get into "BIG" trouble, buying even bigger toys, so to speak, lol.

A escavator is better suited for digging that hole in the ground you want. While you can do it with a front end loader, it's a bitch to do for someone with no loader experiance. Makes a real damn skippy snow plow though.
