I've got a VP50. I'm trying to drive my Runco 1101 (B1209s Data) at 1080p which means I need something to tweak the porch settings.

??? Since I ultimately need analog, should I use the analog out of the VP50 if possible over any other options for best PQ?

??? To do this I would need to strip the HDee Cee Pee, correct?

I would use my HDFury I to do that. Someone mentioned they had their HDFury in front of the VP50 which I never considered before...

??? Is there a difference in PQ depending on which inputs you use digital/analog?


Right now I'm doing PS3 --(HDMI)--> VP50 --(HDMI)--> HDFury I --(BNC)--> PJ.

??? Would this improve by going PS3 --(HDMI)--> HDFury I --(BNC)--> VP50 --(BNC)--> PJ?

Buy one of these HDMi splitters, who strip HDCP.

And use the RGBHV out of the VP50, im quite sure thats better than the old HD Fury.

Try keep the signal digital as much as posible, and just DA concert it for the Projector.

So ill do the chain like this..

PS3 HDMI -> Splitter-> VP50 HDMI input-> VP50 RGBHV out-> Projector.
