TV/Projector: 9500LC Ultra

Posted: Fri Nov 29, 2013 6:11 pm    Post subject: 2nd Marquee 9500LC

So, I picked up another 9500. Here's the list of modules:

Software version on CLM is 4.0c.  I don't have the fully occupied focus board, and the HDM looks to be from a 8000/9000.

Board list in Projector:

50-2330-02P, ISS. 1       Vertical
50-2230-01P, ISS. 2      Convergence
50-2130-02P, ISS. 1             Stigmator
50-2034-02P, ISS.                Focus
50-2036-03P, ISS. 1             CLM
50-2106-05P, ISS. 1             Deflection Processor
50-2010-02P, ISS. 2             Stigmator Waveform
50-2003-04P, ISS. 1             HDM (Seems WAY wrong...)
50-2035-02P, ISS. 2      VIM (Looks like it might be modified)
50-2039-01P, ISS. 1             Neck Boards (Look modified)

Moome VIM-FHD, Ver. 01 2008/11/26, dated 2009.11.02, on sticker.  Seems old as well.  Full HD bandwidth?

What should I swap/upgrade before I mount it? I might move some parts from my other 9500LC (which says Ultra on it, but who knows...) into this one and work on the bellows and stuff on my old one while using this new one.

And, yes... Some of you know where I got it...

Just mount it all and dont worry about the HDM yet. It might hold up for a long time before you need to change it.
Unless it begins to give you issues with the set up your using. Its not that big of a deal to swap it out later and will not make that big of a difference when the new board goes in. A touch up to convergence and maybe size and phase .

In my stack before the blend one of my PJ's had that same board. it did not cause an issue.

Although I did have one smoke on my when CR was calibrating my single marquee set up.

Id get started with the set up now since I found sometimes waiting you never get to it as life happens Wink

TV/Projector: 9500LC Ultra

No kidding...

Just found out today that my old 9500 that I'm doing the bellows on is not an ultra, even though it has the Ultra sticker on it.

Also found my extra boards. Checking to see if I have the right HDM.

Life happened in 2006... been a long time getting back around.
