Ok guys I am holding someone can help me figure out what board is causing the issue I am having
While I was watching tv on my projector the pic goes black
I look at the back and the h fail light was on so I shut it down
Pull the clm and reseat the boards
Works for a half hour then both h and v fail lights are on
Did the same no dice
Then the error lights start strobing back and forth
Tried reseating the boards no luck I pulled the hdm and reseated the daughter card and the hdm no luck
Now the set will power do the strobe on the error lights then act like normal but no pic
I am stumped I have checked the connections and wires non are pinched or loose
Odd thing is it worked great for at least 8 hours as I just got my ps4 today and was trying it out before watching some tv
Times like this make me wish I had a back up right now not happy

My marquee had the thing with the error lights going back and forth. Curt fixed me up with a new CLM board.
See thread " new 9500"

No point being pessimistic; it probably would't work anyway.

BigE do you have a ic puller handy? Sounds like you need to remove the chips on the CLm and DPB and clean and treat them with some deoxit cleaner and protector or with some stabilant22 contact enhancer.
But for now take out the clm, remove the DPB and astig board and press down on the socketed chips on all boards taking care not to flex the boards while pressing down.
I highly recommend using a contact enhancer on all chip sockets in the Marquee. Keeping a good clean contact for the data lines will
prevent any strange behavior .

Given how it acts I don't think the clm is fully bad but I have contacted curt to see what he says

Nash that is great advice but I don't have a chip puller right now but I will be getting one soon
I have tried removing the astig and DPB boards and it worked once but it
I also hear a high pitched noise and seems to go from a low tone to a high tone then stay there right after I start the projector any ideas on that

Reseat the daughter board on the HDM and push down hard on all socketed chips on the CLM. If that doesn't cure it, you'll need to send boards in or buy some spares to track it down.

I had a a maruee here do the same thing, it's a BAD CLM. Just replace the control module, no amount of chip pushing or chip cleaning will fix it .

it really does help create a very good electrical contact and preventive care for a couple years or longer.

Ok I will as soon as I can
I have been at the hospital today with my mom because she had a stroke and that's why I haven't been able to mess with it earlier today
But I am glad it does work and doesn't need a replacement part yet

She can barely move her left arm and leg and has no feeling in both now she is doing ok but still has limited use in her left arm and leg
I was going to work some on the projector but she needed to get to the hospital so it had to wait
I won't hear more till tomorrow
I have been worried about her all day and most likely won't sleep well tonight

He probably had the same thing happen like I did
Btw Nash my mom is home now and on the long road to recovery I haven't got to do anything on the marquee yet as I have been super busy lately I even had to put off getting a dwin for a back up machine till I can get the free time
