A barco vision 700 popped up locally for peanuts. Are there any useful parts inside, like SMPS or splitter, that could be useful in an BD808s or BG1209?

I'm not going to use it!

Are there any parts which fits newer models or is it an older model with no interexchangeable parts?

Check the cross reference tables below. I would think that there wouldn't be much. Not sure about the quad??

I think that the parts swappable could be quadrupler, splitter and magnets of astigmatism.
The quadrupler only if it have the same P/N
Check this number.
Splitter and magnets should be good.

Ah! "While the circuits of the 70X series are loosely based on the Barco 800 and 801 series of sets, the layout is different, and very few parts are compatible with other Barco projectors."

The splitter looks very similar though.

Perhaps I should give him a low bid just to get the external line doublers and the splitter and disassemble and trash the rest just for the experience, like learning how the tube is built up with deflection coils and so on.

The purchase might be cheaper just to the quadruplicator but I'm not sure it's the same, most likely it is not.
I advise you to desist from this purchase.
The older quadrupler of 808 series is R7622091
The newer is R762717

More info for compatibility or other are here:
