I have a 10PG too. Going to try to keep it running as long as possible. I already have a few extra boards and tubes, but I'm missing a couple of spares, plus a couple of boards that I do have, have some issues (although they still work).
What the deal with your PJ?
Thanks, Deron.

It worked fully for two days after I got it(sweet pic) then the pic stopped showing
I got some spare boards and swapped out the gain board and got picture on the blue and red tubes but just the menu dialog on the green tube
The set works fine other then that but I have no room or need for it now so I am going to sell it(already made the sale thread)
The tubes have roughly 2k hours maybe less use as I only ran the set long enough to try out different boards
If you want it let me know as I want it gone as right now I ain't going to be able to fix it since my mom had a stroke as my free time is sparse now
Pm me if you want it 500 even(not including shipping)

I'm don't want to get involved with shipping a PJ, I've done way too many of those.
I'm just interested in parts, at blow out prices. I already have doubles and triples of most boards and extra new tubes. It's cheaper and easier to just change out a board, then try to fix it. Although I hang onto the boards that have problems, as I have been pretty successful at fixing them, if I have to.

I can part it out if you want I don't mind either way as long as the working parts and tubes go to someone who can put them to use

I asked curt and he offered me 300 for just the tubes I am wanting more then the tubes out of my way
I also have spares(most untested)from curt
All of the boards except the gain board and output board are issue free(haven't been able to test the decoder card due to the other issue)

Well the gain board was one of the boards I did not have a perfect working spare of. I need to see if it just needs some minor adjustment. The only other board I do not have a spare of is the V4 DEC. Depending on what you want for a board, I may want double up on spares.
Give me a price on the board(s) and I will let you know.

200 for the boards(2sets complete including one set of neck boards)
Let me know if you want the tubes and I will make a package deal

So that is:
2-system PWB.
2-wave PWB.
2-video out PWB.
2-convergence PWB.
2-focus PWB.
2-gain PWB.
2-V4DCE PWB.
2-Point PWB.
1-R,G&B neck PWB's.
There are more boards and stuff, like the HV stuff and the board by the video section on the back of the PJ.
What about the SMPS? Is that included in the deal?
Have you tested any of these boards? I have received too many boards in the past that the seller thought they were good, but they weren't. I noticed in your "for sale" thread, that you could not get the PJ working because of there being a problem in the video path. Whats the deal there?
Sell Curt the tubes, I have a brand new set of spares.

Every board in the set is in the deal even both power supplies(the high and low)
One of the boards(I guess either the output board or gain board needs recapped but I ain't had time to mess with it)
Now the tubes I will sell separately if you don't want them but they include the lc chambers and lens along with the yokes and are pretty nice shape
Heck if you want I will even pull the motherboard from the set
Seriously i am not kidding

Wow
Don't bother pulling the mother board, that would be a chore. Now of course, if your going to strip the whole set down to nothing, throw it in the package and anything else you want to get rid of.
So one of the video out boards needs new caps? I have found the video out boards have the most trouble on these PG sets.
I will take you up on the deal. How much do you want for shipping? Throw in a little extra money for packaging, that's if you do me a favor and pack the parts like they are going to kick the package all the way here. The Post Office/shipping companies are real good at destroying things.

Give me a few days to pull all the boards and get the bubble wrap and I will pm you a shipping quote along with my email so you can contact me easier
I pack very well learned quick about stuff getting damaged I almost had a tube get destroyed by the postal service that is also the reason I only have one output board for the nec that works(the spare I got was damaged in transit) I still have the glass of the cooling chamber on the tube to prove and serve as a reminder
If you do decide you want the tubes I will store them till you want them as I will pull them also
If I can get the motherboard out I will pull it also but don't hold me to it
Ps I have a pic of a set of Panasonic 180 tubes I sold to someone else on the forum after I wrapped them It should give you a good example of how I wrap stuff(that is with the e home marquee hardware on the tubes) I shipped them via USPS and they arrived unharmed

Yeah
When I was selling PJ's, I would double box tubes with a lot of foam. It was extra work, but my wife worked for USPS and I actually watched as they threw boxes around the sorting room.

I was told by a worker at my local post office that any packages from Washington goes to Florida and the guys literally drop kick the packages on the plane(had two packages damaged due to that)
Don't worry I will pack them well so they don't get damaged I recently sold some marquee parts to a member down under and I double wrapped the larger boards and triple wrapped the smaller ones(in both regular and thick bubble wrap like what we use to wrap a projector)
Almost got all the boards out just got worn out before I was done
Do you want the wiring harnesses also??

Wiring harnesses, not sure what your talking about. There are all the short connector wires, like the ones that go from the video board to the neck boards. Throw those in, any other ones if they fit in the box.
