Just received the green Cs in the mail today from Athanasios, flawless condition, thanks!
By the way are these things glass or plastic? I want to handle them as little as possible and what they're made out of will determine how i clean them right before installation.

I'm a bit confused but using the dark element would the gamut be nearly perfect rec 701 right? Are there any gamut measurements to show how big the color errors are?

If you have a dark green celement than the color gamut will be nearly perfect for green and colors with green in them. Blue is correct with a clear element. Red is under saturated with a clear element and over saturated with a red celement. Over saturation in red is better looking than under saturation. However, if you have a Lumagen Radiance you can correct the over saturated red to make it perfect if you want. Personally, I don't think the red looks best if it's fully correct with the Lumagen so I leave the red somewhat over saturated on purpose.
And as folks should know, you can't fix under saturation with a CMS.
Here is an old CIE chart from one of my clients who has the Sony light green celement. The chart would look nearly perfect with a dark green and would look even worse with a clear celement on green.

Ok, thank you. It is important to have the dark element than. Good to see how accurate these colors can be. My last experience was with the HD145 lenses. I'm hoping to get the same colors again because I'm probable one of the few people that switches back from digital to crt
I started with CRT till the Marquee 8500. Than I went HD1 and HD350 and found myself not enjoying movies anymore. I know it sounds strange but I know people are very sensitive to light spectra as has been shown in light therapie and winter depression. I found out that a xenon lamp worked better with me and my Sony VW100 is a beautiful beamer but once back from uhp to xenon I decided to step back completely because to myself my thesis with the uhp light was proven experimentally. Now I know why crt was always so much fun
I hope I'll get a G90 form Curt soon
