Jeremy, one of my 1001QMs has almost new tubes, those in the pic are my spares Wink They are MUCH worse than they look ( and VERY f***en soft!!! ) Both sets are actually quite sharp with the new and near new tubes, I would love to hack in some RGB input there one day, since 1001 was the same as the 1044 without the RGB input.

That was indeed the 'user error' part. Mr. Green

Id have to think that is what they mustve done!! Can we get a pic of this damage Jeremy?

Sure. I'll shoot a pic on Hallowe'en night if I get a chance.

Back from 5 Days of Hallowe'en!

I am pretty sure I told you back in june when you got that ecp and were looking for tubes to NOT hoard tubes for it because those ecp´s are infamous for crapping out, especially the power parts.

but what do i know... Mr. Green

You did but I figured I was lucky

I guess my luck ran out Mr. Green but oh well live and learn

I can't afford to hoard tubes for my marquee as they are too darn pricey to buy at a whim

But I have a much better set to use which has been pretty much trouble free since I got a marquee
