I got sick of playing around with this thing today and thought since all the covers are off and I had a can of Dulux here, I may as well fix up the damage and scratches....

It looks a lot nicer in black I reckon too, the original silver paint job wasn't really perfect...

Nice!!! The 909 is bar-none the best looking CRT projector made. G90 is close behind, but I deduct points for computer gray color.

The first pair of 909s I ever had my hands on were black, and they were super-sweet.

Well done!!!

Wish I could have gotten a 909 before I switched, but it wasn't to be, I guess.

Looks good! Me though, I'm sick of black as mine already is. Marquee are ugly bastards to so a few cans Ferrari Red might make it better looking. I'm even considering a dark bronze colour with black metal sides. Something a little crazy looking.. Smile

My Cine9 is dark blue which is really nice.

Well an arctic white one would be also cool.

Crabb i always wondered why Sony used those colours, ive got a 1001 here that was beige!!

ElTopo, my 94 Corvette was Arctic White, and i reckon the Cine 9 would look pretty good that colour as well.

I went with the black cause the RUNCO i have is black and looks great, i was abit worried about how it was going to look years ago but when i got it on the ceiling i thought it looked much nicer than a cream coloured one.

The silver and blue didnt look too bad on the Cine, but it does look nicer in black. 1 can of Dulux flat black did the lot for a base coat, i might give it a second can of satin black later in the week. It looks good for the most, but a little "primer-ish" in places up closer.

Case I agree certain colors suit stuff better
My caddy is black(really nice in that color as it is a escalade)
My Chrysler cordoba is a teal green(nice color though for that year)
My marquee is black

I have been kicking around the idea of painting it a different color maybe red or a gloss black as it's a matte black now
