Was wondering if anyone could help me diagnose the problem with my projector. I was watching a movie today, and then the blue tube just stopped working. No noise, no flash, just no output. When I turn on the set, the blue tube does flash with all the other tubes as they are energizing and then that is it. If I use the remote to turn on/off the tubes with no video input, the green and red flash for a second, but not the blue. Do you think this is more of a board problem or just that the tube died?
I have a spare 1352 that only has 500hrs on it, but I'm not sure I'm ready to put the effort into swapping them just yet, and I'd love to see this one work till its completely dead. The tubes have about 5,500 hrs on them currently.
Thanks!

Cliff

Bad blue video neck board. Common issue. Also replace the v board, as they can snap tube necks if they fail. I have both in stock when I get back to Vvancouver at teh end of the month.

Try swapping the green neck board onto the blue tube and confirm first, just in the highly unlikely and almost unheard of event that Curt's diagnosis is inaccurate Laughing

If youve got a spare set you can nab a neck board out of that if theyre the same.
