You got them, and they are postet quite a few times in this thread.. You realy have to keep up..
Maybe they are to manipulated for you, if thats the case im sorry.
Just so you realise, most of us who messes with CRT are aware of the limitations to the tech, and whats not perfect.
We are also fully aware of what we do like, and why..

Sorry for taking a old picture
This pattern showed that my iPhone 4 the last time did not get It right at all. Like I said.
And even scaled to 4K it looks dam good and manages this pattern very well. So I was right?
Here you see them together your machine and the VW1000 and based on the distance where the photos were taken,
I like you again to say what you see so everybody can hear.. This is very close to how it is shown in each corner with same light in each corner.
What about black and white. compared to yours?
How do you think dynamic is on this projector compared to yours?
VW1000 closer? to Original pattern 1080P?
I am waiting for the answer, this is not a competition like you say all the time, and that its dam correct and what about the rest?

Your right your picture is much sharper, i cant compete with that..
And i think i have said that its quite nice from a scaled pattern.. But its not perfect, and the CRT are also not perfect.
About the dynamic range i cant say for sure.. I know my Marquee looks more dynamic than the JVC.. I cant coment on how yours looks compared to the CRT.
I know you also have a native 1080P SONY.. How do it handle that pattern.. Better than the JVC i hope.?

If you like the latest picture its here 1080P 72 hz..
Ipad photo.
Its a bit sharper when looking at it, but not much.
It have a standard blue neckboard, it makes a small color shift, and make blue all fussy.
Optical and magnetic focus is not perfect, but i dont want to use days on that untill its hanging where it should be.
But i still think it looks quite nice, and your welcome to use it to compare with when you are going to evaluate the BARCO.

Ok you asked for it.
Remember i dont know the numbers, thats what i asked your help with, your ansver was in the end-->
4096X2160x60 = 530841600 Will this work, or is that enough bandwidth to run 4K 60hz ??
Teach me !
4K.. whatever kind of 4K you desire.
And please explain the nr, so we in the future can use them in the Radiance. If you dont know the nr, let me know wich parameters are needed to calkulate the clock.

What source were you displaying on your CRT that wasn't using pixels? Do "real images" have scan lines?
|
Do you see scan lines in the screen shots?

True, but then you can only use about 94% of the width of the chip on a 4k projector like the VW1000.
SC |
Right but it's a pro feature of the pj because you can project both UHD and 4K material with 1:1 pixel mapping. The projector has the motorized zoom so you can fit the image to the screen.

To get the result you had what you needed on a digital.
And its un relevant to me, and total un relevant for this topic.

When you get a 4K projector and a 4K Lumagen you don´t have to manually do them in the Lumagen all this happens automatlicly. The bandwith of 4K 60Hz is 530Mhz and that is a fact, the timingnumbers I don´t know and I am sorry for that.

Thats ok..
And i know i dont need to add the nr. Just curious how you get the clock without knowing the timings/ H and V total.
Unless they are the same as H and V active.
1920x1080x 60 = 124416000
thats not the right clock/ bandwidt its 60/1,001 x 2200x1125 = 148351648
Most digital displays will not display anything if any of the timing nr are not correct.
But im very curious to learn something new..

I cant find the nr.
Im quite sure that 530Mhz will not be enough, guess 40Mhz or more short of bandwidth.
My bid is around 600Mhz.
And if thats the case i think knowing the timings is quite important to know, or at least consider, as not only beeing something on a analog display.
What do you think.. Also like to stick your head in the ground.?

Yes, I think the timings are important, but I don´t bother. I am finished with this stupid discussion now!
