Because you just claim sh*t and not adding any positive to this forum.
You're just out to spread sh*t.

Macgyver655 was the one who started with all this bull****. If you check back at his first post today you will clearly see what I mean. I am trying to discuss and he is clearly only here to throw sh*t. Thumbs Down

No.. it started going downhill a few days ago already, but this is just ridiculous, I don't know who was at fault, and I don't care either.

If there was any maturity left in this thread, I wouldn't be seeing posts with "Well he started this..." Idea

Eisemann theatre CRT simulation grade tubes better then the VW 1000? Topic...

What is better? What is the background check for this claim? all I have seen so far is so far from, that's why so extremely funny. You just need to know just a little bit of what happened in the industry technology and to the home theatre projector since 2006 and up till now 2015.
The technology did not stop in 2006. Like I feel that all you guys here think. I'm not going to take your hobbies away any points. I just like to point out that topics like this and accusations that are far from reality will get reactions. Until proven otherwise.

It might be the best that the man started this topic answer this or show me this if or when he comes to Norway.

Well, I donīt really care, but here is the first post of macgyver655 since I started posting today and it was my first time in many months. And you guys are so offended by our presence here and clearly donīt like when someone is criticzing your belowed CRTīs. If the CRT tech had continued to be developed since 2003 the topic of this thread would have been true. But it is not and it is now 2015 and the days of the CRT on the throne is numbered a long time ago.

mcgyver655 wrote:

And you are finally starting to get it. Yes, this is a CRT forum and we do not care what you have to say. Frankly, I think it is funny how your little boy starts to cry and daddy has to try to come to his rescue. If you kept better control of your little boy and told him to not be going around and intentionally starting trouble, you would not have to try to clean up his mess.

And as far as your claim on crters who have went to digital, sure they have, but not for reasons of picture quality. Your claims that these particular digitals are superior to any CRT in all ways is also bogus and a lie. I repair projectors of both technologies every day and testing the image is part of that. So I can easily say that digital is not superior in every way. It has its faults just like CRT does.

BUT, as you have said, this is a CRT forum and you and your little boy coming here and trying to disrupt our forum is uncalled for and if you cannot realize that then we would have to throw all credibility of you and your boy right in the trash.

So now you and your boy have to decide. Do you want to stay here and keep arguing with everyone or bow out and go back to enjoying whatever it is you like best? Your choice.

Here is maybe the facts about CRT against digital 2015

That CRT beats any digital picture might play very well to the faithful here but it is deliberately blind to the industry, the marketplace and, ultimately, to reality.

Read that line you wrote right there. You don't really care, but yet apparently you do or you wouldn't be bringing it up still...

This describes the current discussion going on in this thread well:

This is so stupid. We've seen this discussion over and over and over.

To digital guys:
Yes, it's a given that digital is now superior to CRT in most respects, save for a couple. But, here's the deal: To the CRT'rs left, they don't care. They like to tinker, they prize absolute black level over other aspects of image quality, and they like the repairability and cost-of-ownership of CRT. Give it up. They like what they like, and there's little sense in arguing about it.

To the CRT guys:
Yes, we all know there are a few attributes of CRT and CRT image quality you still find preferable, whether it's absolute black level, the "film look", or repairability. But, some people don't care about those things as much as they care about some of the things you don't care about. But, be warned.... If you bump an old CRT vs. digital thread with an extremely-biased CRT vs. digital pro/con post, don't act all surprised and incredulous if you fire somebody up (troll or not) and he takes you to task over it and another flam war ensues.

BTW, curtpalme.com isn't a "CRT forum" any longer. It hasn't been for years. Kal transitioned it to "home theater forum" years ago. Yes, it's the last place on the interwebs for CRT'ers to hang out, and Curt still does some business, but that's all sort of beside the point. There's a CRT subforum here, and there are a lot of CRT'ers here, but that's all. This is a home theater forum, and as such, digital talk or digital vs. CRT talk is just as welcome and reasonable here as CRT talk (save for this specific subforum, of course which should be about CRT or CRT vs. digital).

Cheers,
SC

Fine. CRT sucks because it's big and heavy and loud.

There, are you happy?
