I am getting ready to convert my vision 3 to 9 inch tubes and was wondering if anyone had a vision 1 case they weren't useing
Mine is the vision 3 case in matte black but if the case is in a different color I don't mind

I think only the front bezel around the tubes was different.

The whole case is different your thinking of the marquee case(I have seen pics of the vision one and its completely different from mine)

The whole case is different your thinking of the marquee case(I have seen pics of the vision one and its completely different from mine) |
There were different versions of the case. Post a picture of yours.

Here is the pic of mine
Looks almost like a e home case painted black but the vidikron logo is on the remotes and in the info screen
Its a vision 3 but like I said its case doesn't match the brochure for the vision 3
Also the sticker by the power inlet is missing(not sure if it was removed when it was made or what)

That's an Electrohome case, not a Vision 3 Case. The prior owner probably sold off the Vision 3 case separately.

That sucks why would someone want to keep the set and sell the case?
Also which case would be best the vision 3 or vision 1 case??

I think it was the other way around as I found out about the secret service menu but the code is not the same as the other service menus in the set
Also the remotes have the vidikron logo so most likely someone bought the set for the case and turned around and sold the chassis
How do I change the display menu lettering from green to white or is that because its showing as a vidikron??
I thought something was fishy about the case not matching the brochures for either vision set

I seen in a different thread (on this forum)that some of the earlier vidikron sets had e home cases last time I inspected the set I seen a date stamp in late 98 but the boards in the set have newer date stamps is it possible mine is a earlier model?
If yes I would most likely be looking for one of the pinaferia designed cases after I do the tube swap(upgrading to 9inch tubes)
I wonder if curt has one
