What are the options these days to allow blu ray discs to play over an analog output?
I was using AnyDVDHD, but it is rediculously overpriced.
Is there any other solutions that will allow the same sort of thing?

I got AnyDVDHD when it came with a life time subscription. How much does it cost now?

What operating system? 32 or 64bit.
I haven't tried this with Blu-ray but VLC player is great with DVD. Make sure you down load the right version though 32 or 64 bit.

The 64 bit is "experimental" but I am using it in win7 64 bit PCs and its fine but I am using DVDs.

an HDFury is only 50 bucks or so these days...seems like a better investment.

I dont need another Fury, ive got a 3, and a MOOME V3, and a MOOME XG card, but none with allow 3D, which is why i want to output blu ray over RGB, cause it works perfectly!!
I have 7 x64, VLC is great yes, but doesnt play blu ray or 3D as far as ive found. Ive been using VLC for many years, quite like it.
A number of PowerDVDs will do what i need, but without AnyDVDHD, no output over analog for blu ray.
Yeah Jeremy, that is a crazy price isnt it.

I use PowerDVD for BR and hddvd's without AnyDVDHD and use only analog output.
PowerDVD video is over desktop, so can't use software gamma like with wmr.
Using video card with HDMI do the trick as long disc haven't ICT flagged. Don't know any disc that have it.

Its alright, ive got it sorted 
My copy of Power DVD wont allow bluray to play out the RGB without AnyDVD. Im just downloading a trial of 13 ULTRA now.
I had planed to just use the 3D bluray player, but for some reason i cant get 3D to work on the MOOME V3 box, even though the player plays in 3D. The image is just straight up 2D, so id say its only displaying every second frame.

Case I had this issue with a digital
3d worked for a few days then nadda a few days later the 3d option didn't show
I have a Sony blu ray player and a ps3 both are capable of 3d but nether showed the option
I dropped trying to do 3d when I switched to crt but may try again with the fury 3(soon) as the marquee will work with 3d
But most DVD programs won't do well over rgb(been there done that)
Before you say anything I had all new hdmi cables and both the digital projector and players have 3d capability

Copy the bluray to the HDD and play from there, no HDCP problem through RGB output.

E, DVD and Bluray are the same over RGB with everything ive tried. I ran the XG that way for ages.
The HD Fury 3 is not 3D capable.

I don't have a fury3(plan to upgrade that soon) but my 3d issues were with a digital projector(don't use that now)but should I decide to start using 3d again I have the capible player
As far as the hdcp I never had problems playing them back on a analog monitor after I ripped DVD's I have(mainly to make a copy onto a freash disc)currently working on a media server(would also be able to play back media) for my home theater setup to elemanate the mess of discs and make it a clean setup(plus it would allow me to ditch one or two set top boxes I currently use)
Only problem I have noticed is blu ray I have no copy software to rip the movie files to the hard drive(do for DVD)
I already have my case and power supply for the media machine and its going to be slient

Once again you didnt listen or understand here. DVD is not HD anyway, and plays fine over RGB. DVD does not have HDCP. This thread is not about DVD and what you did or didnt do with it, its about bluray discs being played over RGB without a conversion device from HDMI to RGB.
Youre gonna quickly learn that your proposed connection method for 3D will be extremely hard to get working, if it will at all. Best way is use a PC connected from the RGB output on the video card to the RGB input on the projector, AnyDVDHD, and PowerDVD 13 ULTRA. Its easy then.

I know DVD isn't HD
I ain't using the media machine for 3d but I don't think I will be using the 3d function again anytime soon as last time I tried it on my 3d capible projector it didn't show the 3d option so I am in no hurry for 3d as I only have two 3d movies (I do have a ps3 game that's 3d)
My media machine is like you are going be using yours for watching and storing movies(I have powerdvd software that came with a blu ray drive)
I will make a seprate thread soon as I get it built
Ps the link you told me to go to for the VGA box for my dream cast was sold out

Check ebay for VGA box, i gave mine to a friend a while ago.
PowerDVD included with the drive wont be the ULTRA version, and that is the only version worth using. May as well use VLC player for DVDs.
If it didnt show the 3D option youve got a setup issue. Using a PC RGB output allows you to select generic CRT display for 3D, and it works fine. It wont allow protected blurays over non HDCP devices without AnyDVD HD or some other jigery pokery.
