Perhaps someone has the manual for G90 and could copy the section on setting up the scheimpflug.

The install manual is right on the site...

Scheimpflug really couldn't be any easier or convenient than it is on the G70 and G90.

Be sure to start with the hardware centered. The center is marked on each of the H-V gears. One has a tick mark and the other has a reduced diameter where center is. If you are unsure, set the flapping all the way in one direction. Then count the number of turns it takes to go to the extreme other end. Divide by two and turn to match. You should see the marks then.
You will love those housings. The flapping on the G90 hardware ROCKS

Also, look on the chassis that I sold you and near each flapping bolt there is a marker for "H" and "V" inscribed into the chassis
They are 10 mm bolts and I like using a box wrench so that I can see how much I am moving them from my last turn.
Please post some pix of your setup. I really am curious how your custom job came out!

Yes I looked at a number of LC systems and I would agree the G90 has the best system.
Thanks for the tips
There is a picture attached to give you some idea what this looks like.

That's working out really well it seems. How have you mounted the tubes into the G90 hardware? Are you using 9" tubes?
Can you post a pic of the inside too?

I will post more pictures soon
Yes 9" Sony tubes I have 09MEX2 tubes in there at the moment. I have mounted them upside down that is the HT lead is at the bottom which of course doesn't matter. You have to do that to mount the RGB Amp the right way up. The Sony tubes fit nicely into those G90 LC tanks.

Looks really cool and your work looks quite nice too.
It is just funny to see; looks like a G90 on the outside and a Barco on the inside.

Thanks Craig. The 808 electronics are reliable and the G90 LC setup is the best and I have 10F lenses off a G90. The LC setup allows me to use either Sony or Panasonic tubes. Right now I have Sony tubes and they throw a really great picture with good colour depth.

Keith if I understand you correctly these are the Sony 09MEX2 air cooled tubes that I sold you mounted to G90 LC tanks in a Barco 808?

Yes that's right. Its very easy to remove the AC gear and then mount the tubes in LC equipment.

What did you remove from the AC tubes? Do you have any pictures that you could post showing how you did this?

If you have seen an AC setup there is a very thin tank with a small amount of glycol. The tank is probably less than a cm deep and is likely only there to cool the tube face.
I will see what I can do for pictures.

Ok I have had some requests for a little more detail on AC Tubes and whats involved in separating the tank from the tube so here are some pictures.
You use the knife to separate the glass from the AC tank by simply cutting around the outside of the AC tank between the tank and the glass. Then use a combination of the knife and flat blade to work around the the metal part of the tank from the inside which you can now get to because you have removed the glass front. Just be careful not to scratch the tube face. Of course drain the glycol first through the drain screw.
