barco 1209 brightness problem

hi guys,

from few days ago my barco
1209S loss brightness about 50%.
this problem is on the 3 tubes.

the brightness become very very low on the 3 tubes.

its very dificult to see windows desktop on
the screen.

anyone have an idea about this problem?

Check the filament voltage, but most likely the G2 board is bad, or I guess it could be one of the video boards,. either the RGB switcher or quad decoder as well. I've got all of them in stock.

i think the g2 board is bad too..

i have a set of video cards ,i go to swap it

There should be 6 volts DC on the filament pins on the CRT socket.

Also, are the internal manus dim as well?

yes,the brigness and focus of internal menus are ok.

the problem is only on the picture

i swap the quad decoder card.
the brightness is ok now

but,i tred to adjust the g2.
i go to service menu and i choose
g2 adjustment but when i turn very slowly the
g2 pot on the g2 board the green light on the tubes amp
dont shutdown
the light it is always green.

anyone have an idea?

Have you tried a monitor on the PC to see if the image is bright or dull?

the problem is resolved.
the R762720 board was bad.

i swap it,everything are good now.

brightness and g2's Laughing

i am happy!!

i am looking for one
R762720 to keep spare
