Why do I get the feeling that's going to bring out some crazy thoughts and text on here like another post did

Btw curt get a suv man you really could use the extra space for these hauls plus you would be a lot more comfy in route

I wonder if I could fit all four of my projectors in the back of my escalade???(I almost hauled a projection tv but decided not to)

Of corse that would be without them strapped to a pallet

Smile Smile Smile Smile Mr. Green Mr. Green

Where have you been? I HAVE an SUV, but it has 325,000 miles on it, and I didn't really trust it on this 10,000 mile road trip. I bought 6 projectors that are all getting shipped. even with my Rav 4, it wouldn't fit more than 2 DTV 1200s in it, and with the money I saved in gas taking my car, it more than justifies the projector shipping bill.

I knew that I meant you need a larger (say FULL size suv) to haul projectors in Smile(MORE ROOM)

But I can see how you are doing is cheaper(fuel wise which I know first hand isn't cheap)

About the shipping bill I read in the paper that forward air just got a profit this quarter would this have anything to do with this trip??

So the trip ended on a high note, with the fraud squad of my Visa card calling me to ask if I'd authorized transactions in.. BRAZIL!

Looks like my card got double swiped in Yellowstone or the Badlands. I'm good for the drive home, but piss me off!

Ouch curt having unauthorized purchases somewhere isn't good be careful as identity thief is rampant

Trust me I know from personal experience on that

Could have happened in those areas I would call the card company and ask which one it was and what for

Trust me on this

Glad to hear that the trip went well

Also you should have stopped by I would have hooked you up with a nice set of 8 inch Panasonic 180 tubes with marquee hardware and yokes red and blue 9 green 9-8 still good

Going to post them on the forum soon for sale since I have no need for them now

yeah, they're on top of it. Not too worried about ID theft, I mean, would you REALLY want a crazy name like Curt Palme, who can't hide on the internet if he tried? Smile

Car is full of crap. I couldn't fit anything else into it if I tried. Smile

got a good new focus on life and love. I always get inspired while I'm on the road, but it took a full 2 weeks to get inspired this trip. Must be getting old!

I know and it is true but they would still be able to ruin your credit score

Email me if you want the tubes
I also have the lens for them too and will be included as they also aren't needed

I am selling my parts chassis(already got a buyer) as I ain't worried about my set giving me issues

Also would it be ok if I listed my nec since I haven't had the time to fix it?

Ok I was going to clear it with you before I did as I know how you are about selling working projectors on the forum

Heck I haven't messed with it since I got my marquee(which has proved to be a much better machine)

I am thinking of getting a dwin soon to have as a back up for my marquee(maybe two so I can do a second setup in a different room)

I hate you guys. Razz

THe BS started as soon as I walked in the door. negative f/b on eBay from some Ahole that insisted I ship his laptop that he paid 10 days late for, a couple of days after I'd left town. 2 calls to my cell company as my phone was missing calls and texts. Had to do a reset. they could have told me that on the road!

Have you shipped the computer, yet? If not, and you'll be stuck with neg feedback anyway, refund his money and tell him to stick it in his ass.

I can see how the guy might be a little annoyed at having to wait almost a month though, even if it did take him 10 days to pay. Given that people are going to be stupid sometimes, you really should have a helper lined up that can do take care of a couple of basic tasks for you when you're out of town for extended periods. Even if you ended up spending any profit on some sales, it would be better than getting bad feedback. My dad leaves for a couple of weeks at a time, and he takes product and leaves it with somebody and then emails shipping instructions from the road.

oh, I refunded his money immediately, and told him that I was out of town for a month. I requested to cancel the auction via eBay, and he declined. After a few emails back and forth 'I'm on the road, how do you expect me to ship it until the end of Oct?', he agreed that I'd contact him at the end of Oct, and he'd pay the bill then, and I'd ship. Yesterday he leaves negative f/b.

I ended all listings a full 10 days before I left, he paid at the end of the 10th day. Since I ship stuff from the US, I can't get a helper to do it, I'm the only one that can do the customs clearance. There's always some moron on eBay, and it's usually kids, too, as this guy was. Couldn't spell worth crap...'dude'. Smile
