I saw Runaway Train on Blu-ray the other day and must say it had me choked up at the end, again! I can't believe that 2.0 LPCM turned into 5.1 could sound so great. It's unbelievable that 5.1 sounds so much better than stereo.

Are we talking about the movie from '85 with Jon Voigt and Rebecca De Mornay? I don't think I've ever seen it. If it's that good, I'll have to check it out!

Yes, it's the very same. One shouldn't overpraise a movie but I really enjoyed that one for sure. I'm glad I waited so long to see it again with this audio and picture. I wasn't even drunk.. See it alone to make the most of it. Smile

It's definitely a classic from what I understand and funny enough I haven't seen it ....

Here:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0792838424/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0792838424&linkCode=as2&tag=curtpalmecrtp-20

Amazon doesn't seem to have the Blu-ray - only the DVD. Strange.
