Well it's a big powerful machine with massive voltages and huge vacume in this tubes and we know it was in the elements so that's a very good idea... It's actuall forced in my case... I have it on a small table in the middle of the garage... Away from a power point too

Check the fuse on the power entry module it may be blown(they can blow with no problem in the set)
It should be next to the plug for the cord(that where it is on my Ecp 4101) behind a black plastic cover

That will be tomorrow for me
Remember the electrohome sets have a power entry module a high voltage module and a low voltage module(the second is a replace only item)

An ECP maybe, but the Marquee is completely different, The low voltage power supply is the big box at the left front of the machine, there are actually LEDs on the powersupply, so if one power rail is shorted one or more LEDs are blinking or lighting corresponding to the problem, you can check it that first.
Unfortunately the power supply was made by a 3rd party manufacturer, and it's schematic diagram is not included in the service manual, so it is a sort of replace only part, however if you have skills you may can repair it, probably it is something related with the rugged storing conditions.

I had my mind leave me for some resion when I typed that but I didn't relize that the power entry module was in the low voltage power supply till after I posted(doh)

Thats one pretty looking LVPS.. super clean.
If those ventilators dont run, can you try change those fuses just to be 200% sure they dont tease you.?

Test the fuses out of the holders, should be zero ohms after you subtract the lead resistance of your meter.

Funny you say this as they are the only board i haven't cleaned.... rest of the system beside literally the screws and bolts has come up mint!!!! no bad for a machine that sat outside and had bugs in it lol.... I was thinking of changing fuses just in case they are playing games with me.... BTW will the fans come on when a working LVPS is plugged into power even out of the projector as i'd really like to test it like this atm not to damage the rest of the machine...

I don't think it will work out of the set(my nec pg is this way)
But try the fuses first as it don't look like anything is bad on the board afaik
If replacing the fuses don't work then contact curt and see if he has a spare for you to get
You will enjoy it once its working
Is it a ac or lc optics machine?
The later does give a sharper pic if you ask me(my nec pg is like that) I have wondered if I can change my Ecp to lc from ac optics
