awesome.

One minor note and I can't seem to explain this without sounding pendantic, so please forgive me in advance. It is true, by definition, that as you change the toe in, the left/right scheimpflug must changed as well. Now, it might have been so subtle as to not matter to your eyes, BUT it will have changed. Geometrically speaking, this is because the angle formed by the tube face and the screen must be bisected (cut in half) by the angle orthogonal (right angle) to the primary axis of the lens. See the image below...

cheers!
Matt

i haven't noticed a difference in the image(i haven't adjusted the scheimflug at all) but i do notice the convergence grid has a bit f bowing to it (the source image doesn't or maybe i don't notice it)

i don't which section of the service manual to look at for this adjustment(or is it in the owners manual? Very Happy i just got through adjust the picture settings)

it was a pain to converge so i am guessing it is because of this setting
9oh well more tweaking Very Happy Very Happy )

i had to put the neck board back on the blue tube(got a sudden blue flash then the set shut down Shocked Shocked it caught me off guard) i put the neck board back on and haven't had a problem since

how do i adjust the schimpflug on my ecp? Question Question i know how to adjust the other picture settings

i spent some time with the service manual and found the adjustment for the schimpflug and got it adjusted(didn't take much) and the results were great i did a full calibrate (not messing with the g2 and stuff like that drive the tubes) and the picture is amazing

i just watched part of life of pi(didn't get to finsh due to storm) and i was blown away blu ray movies look stunning on this old set

i may save up and do a blend setup with two marquees sometime

my mom wasn't expecting the true black(she thought something happened) i was grinning the whole time as i knew it would happen my dad loves the picture quality(soon game night with my cousins will post how they react) so far the ecp is loved for sure

i am wondering if the fan grille removal mod really quietens it down any? anybody that has done it can post me the results or provide the link to the thread?
i have put small spacers on the fans and it didn't help much
