Is on it's way. I finally broke down and ordered it. I have the 103, it sounds pretty good, but still not better than my Integra DPS 10.5. The picture quality is definitely better than my Sony BDP-550s. So I figure I just have to try out the 105 and see if it can beat the steadfast sound quality winner in my system...

If not, no big deal I'll just send it back and be out a small cost in shipping.

Crabb you know you wanna get one Wink

Are you using it analog? I am, because I have issue with lip sync over HDMI, not that I wouldn't have used the analogs outputs for 2 channel anyway, just thought it was weird. Weird because the 93 had lip sync issues too?

The sound quality for movies is really good, better than my Sony hands down. But 2 channel the Integra wins...handily.

I let you know about the 105.

I was looking at the audio circuit on my BDP-83. Perfect candidate for POOGE'ing !!! Change out to better op amps and resistors caps etc. One thing they do use though is a better PCB board in the SE. otherwise its just better parts.

Ohh.. fu...... Now i need to find 900$ damn.. LOL

The cheapest and fastest mod in any OPPO is to unplug the analog audio board.. No matter what OPPO.. they all sounds terible.. The 95 is the worse, stil not had my hands on the 105.

How much better than the original are these mods in terms of image quality.

How much better is OPPO BD player than the competition. Can you simply see the difference or do you have to measure it somehow?

I did buy the LINEAR POWER MODULE - $280 for my OPPO 103D and i cant say its better or worse, i simply dont have any idea.

I just like the idea of no SMPS.

The OPPO players is nice, in some cases they are better.

Todays OPPO players have so many features that image quality in some cases suffers a bit, depending your settings for the output.
