Yes, the room needs painting still, but I had to put the deck somewhere. Now I need some kind of lowboy piece of furniture to display a bunch of the smaller decks on, and a decent 70s receiver. Pioneer SX series are going for stupid money recently...

Nah, they are solid state decks, so they get a solid state amp. I"m just not into tubes that much...

I have to do all sorts of things to the room, like drapes before it sounds any good. Finally found the PROPER back panel for my Technics 1520 that should be here next week. I've got a number of oldish speakers, from JBL to the MLs to Realistic (T100 baby!), and I'll use the room where the projectors were stored in as a Craigslist demo room... for now.
Just had a CL guy come over that sells tools that he buys out of storage lockers. He says every so often they get RTRs and other vintage audio gear, so he'll call me.

Could that be because youa re surrounded by tubes 24x7?
