what is the difference?are they interchangable?

G2 on DMB= Pin2
on DVB = Pin 6

Otherwise identical

Yes they are interchangeable with the exception of having to drill hole in the Marquee VNB. I retuned my 8500 and had to do this. It was actually very easy despite sounding rather intimidating.
