I am also new to the site, only after stumbling on this thread. I've had my 850 since the day it came out and am in need of the software. If anyone could help that would be awesome.

Looking for the software editor for the MX-850 remote by URC; I have three MX-850's and 3 MX-900's in our house running various systems. Upgraded a couple of components and now need to update the remotes, and of course my original installer went out of business and the MX-850 cannot be edited by the complete control software i have for the MX-900. Does anyone have a copy of the MX-850 software editor they can point me towards? thanks!

Sorry to pile on, but like a lot of others, I got an MX-850 as a lagniappe on an eBay TV purchase. I'd love to make it work, but the only software I can find for it is V.1.04 from Oct. 2008, but it can't be updated. If you could please help, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks for your time.

Like all of you, I too am in the same boat with programming changes to my three MX-850's. I have tried to contact multiple different re-seller's and of course they all want to come out and program the remotes. Seems a bit much for a few changes. Anyone with the software out there that can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey Steve,
You may just very well be my savior. I am in the same situation as all others. Have had remote for several years, changed a few items in my entertainment center and now I can't re-program my remote! URC has not wanted to help me and give me the software. Could you please share the software? PM? Otherwise the remotes is trash for me unless I pay to program it! My remote is an MX-850

I have MX 850 Editor software version 1.12.267. Is there a newer version available anywhere?
Off topic, but does anyone have a suggestion for a more modern replacement for the MX-850? The MX-850 is clunky but is a pleasure to use and not too hard to program once you learn how. I'm not a fan of Harmony remotes.
