Long story short my deal on some GT17's fell through as the seller changed his mind and wanted to keep them.

I have a 104" wide (viewable) 120" diagonal 16x9 screen. I know that I am probably exceeding the limits on the HD10L's on my 9500 so need to look for some better options.

What do you all feel would be the best choice? HQF's are out of my budget so that is a no. Was thinking either GT17's still or some HD10F's. Leaning heavily towards the HD10F's but, would like some other opinions from the more experienced as to if there is that much difference between them? I will be aiming for 1080P but am limited to 60hrz as the Mini does not support 72hrz.

Hello

Your screen is too big; I am blending on 107" width.

Hey, Tim.

Yeah, The screen is a bit big. It is a 1.2 gain I think, Not overly dim but not where it could be. That being said will new lenses help optically or am I making to many compromises with the screen I have?

Any other thoughts on this gentlemen?

Screen size aside. Seeing how I am only 8" over the 96" recommended max. width that Tim has posted.

What would you guys think would do better for me? GT17's or 10F's

James

I have some 10F's but I think they are from the 1292. But they are better than the
Hd 10L's

Thanks for the input Nash. Once things settle down around here I will look for a set of 10F's I think.

Been balls deep in my board mods this past week.
