Can you carry the projector to another part of the house and just project on a wall to check if the lines remain?

Will do that later, could it also be the case that some part/cables decided to move upon transport? and I am wondering, when any of you turn on your (Sony) projector, those lines at the warm-up screen do not appear in any sense, correct?

No success while moving, however --> could I suffer from something like this? http://www.ehow.com/how_8658411_fix-tv-retrace-lines.html

Besides that, I am also facing a 04 error '1k-over' the projector does not start up anymore..Sad
