I am certain I am missing something simple here...

I had some electrical work done in my basement so I unplugged my marquee for about a week. When I plugged it back in I can't seem to get a picture from a source. (Pj menus are displayed)

I have a moome hdmi card fed by a lumagen scaler. I have tried plugging my satellite and TiVo directly into the moome card as well and still nothing. I have selected source 01, 02, ,03... And played with the recap button... Still no picture.

Could something have happened because it was unplugged for a week?

My gut tells me I'm missing something terribly simple. Any thoughts?

Well the Moome card is in source 02.

I'd run a computer into input 1 via RGBHV. THe Moome card may have gotten nuked, or maybe the VIM. IF the menus are coming up, then 99% of the Marquee works.

I've been playing with it... I noticed the power supply on the lumagen was really hot. I had another one waiting to be installed so I opened it and noticed the power supply was different... So I may have nukked the lumagen and maybe the moome card?

I hooked the lumagen up to a different tv... Nothing, then tried the other undenied lumagen in the tv. It worked, so I tried to hook it up to the projector and still nothing. The lumagen does have rgbhv outputs too. Ill try to figure out how to activate them and see if I can get a signal in source 01

Dragan... I don't know if there is a button on the back if the moome. This card is at least 4-5 years old... So could it be a different version than you are thinking?

It's ceiling mounted

if it's older then it won't, that button switches between HDMI inputs and people get stuck on it all the time. sounds like the lumagen is bad, it's not ucommon. Had a guy tear his 9500 apart only to find the scaler was bad, god dam HDCP card of all things. Lumagen repaired it for not much money though

it figures, Just when I have been getting into working on my Blend others with CRT's are stoping.

I wish I could take all the CRT's fix them and give them back free of charge. I hate to loose a CRT'er. Sad

I feel I have let u all down. Sad.

Been marqueeing since 2003. I will try to troubleshoot it and if I can fix it, it may find a home in the workshop.

I got the "new" hdp to output rgbhv, and once I managed to get the h and v cables correct, I have a picture on source 1. So, it looks like the moome card is fried. Ill try the component inputs on it just to see what happens

I can get a signal through the component! I swapped hdmi cable and flipped the switch on the moome to hdmi. Still nothing. So it appears the moome is the culprit... Actually. The culprit may have been me when I used the wrong wall wart on the the old lumagen. It was a different voltage and it must have damaged the lumagen and moome.

So now I'm at a crossroad. I can Ty to cancel the hc9000 or I can try it and if it doesn't do it for me, I can send it back and replace the moome.

I really am curious how the panamorph uh480 and mitsu would play together... Not to mention 3d....doh!

Come on... Any good crt'er has a back up lumagen. Wink. As it stands, it works fine with rgbhv, so I can either run a length of cable, or get another moome. If it goes up in the shop, I would just use it with the hdp and rgbhv. But perhaps throwing it up on videogon so an enthusiast can enjoy it is best... Guess it depends on the mitsu.

ouch! 3K$ mistake if you keep the LCD, $400. if you replace the moome card with a new one, $100. if you send the card to moome for repair.
Surprised
