No, the HD8 has significantly larger diameter (thus different mountings), you really need an adapter for HD145.

Yes, i would need the Joust mounting plates.

Seems Hulio is the seller from the Cine8 Smile It has the rare color filtered HD8 lenses so i lose that benefit should i upgrade.

Too bad i don't have time to go get it this weekend Sad. Keep it safe for me Hulio!

Hmmm, i thought all AC XGs had the same cooling chambers...

Mine is a DTV991 but has HD-144s on it. Awesome corner focus, basically just as good as the center...

I think this would be some misinformation or typo, fitting a HD8 in an XG chassis is pointless, and far too much work for runco Very Happy but if we assume it is mistyped and the information meant to be "with HD18 lenses" then it is the standard LC lens for XG.

That would be more fitting for an ULTRA title if that is the case.

Hahaha, i just got my green replacement tube. Seems i underestimated the sizes of the tubes Smile

Swapping a 5-6 to a 7-8ish so i can get an enjoyable image. Is there a guide on how to do this? I doubt it's that hard but just to be sure.

No, this is accurate. The 991 Ultra did indeed have HD8 lenses on them. Not sure why Runco did it, but I've had two through here so far.

I assume the 808s guide is nearly the same. Will take a look at that one!
