Here's one that I've seen twice now, so you might run into this. I sold a 1209s to a customer in the summer, and he complained that one of the Scheimpflug nuts was stripped. He turned it, and it did nothing, it just spun in place.

I sent him a new tube, and he swapped it out. I got the old tube back a couple of weeks ago, and was ready to transplant the raw tube into a new housing, but I decided to see what was amiss before I went through that process. Amazingly, I managed to repair it without taking the tube out of the housing.

If you look on the underside of where the Scheimpflug nut is, you'll see a Philips screw head. It's between the metal tube mounting face and the bellows, so you need a long Philips screwdriver to reach it properly. Tighten it, and the Scheimpflug starts working it. Thumbs Up

Now, there's no way to fix this without taking the tube out of the set, but at least you don't have to de-pot the tube and install it into a new housing.
