It's a difference of 8 pixels for each the top and bottom, or about 1% each. On a typical screen size like yours or mine (Nash's is bigger), we're talking about cutting off .425" or 1cm from the top/bottom. That's probably 1/2 or 1/3 of what you're losing in overscan on the sides. If you don't have masking, I'd rather just matte and lose a cm of the picture than have a cm of blank space (which is really annoying to me).

I dont know my screen size at that aspect ive never measured it, 125" is in 5:4 aspect.

The masking i have on that screen is at 1.78:1 and 2.35:1.
