Craig, I do not think so, I looked in the settings, could find nothing,
I am running unRAID Server Pro version: 5.0-beta9, which is an older version,

Not had time to do an update.

But take a look at unMenu, as it is also the unRaid package. More settings in unMenu.

If I find anything, will post it up.

Cheers

Thanks. Looks interesting, but I don't see anything about power management.

There is this one:

Quote:
Apcupsd

Apcupsd is a daemon for controlling APC UPS devices. Version 3.14.8 can be used for power management and controlling most of APC's UPS models on Unix and Windows machines. It works with most of APC's Smart-UPS models as well as most simple signalling models such as Back-UPS and BackUPS-Office. A configuration file for the older 3.14.3 version of apcupsd is also included.

But I don't know if that's what I am really looking for...

I installed unRAID free version on a test system with three drives / one parity. It is very easy to configure and does some very cute tricks like the directory grouping across discs. I also installed unMenu.

However, I am nervous about unRAID's inability to deal with data rot as I have had trouble with this in the past before implementing zfs. Also the lack of real time parity is a bummer. I don't know which way I will go with the next build. I read really quickly that there is a way to generate checksums and deal with data rot, but it's not built into unRAID and I think it's only with the command prompt. This is not so bad, but I don't think it can be automated like with zfs where I have it set to "scrub" my data to repair it every month.

...but man, unRAID is SUPER easy to setup and install.

I have plenty of time to read and learn as I won't be building the new hard drives up until around the turn of the year.

I did get my IBM ServeRAID M1015 and cross flashed it to an LSI9211-IT without bootrom. That was very easy in DOS and now I have a killer 2-port SAS card that can take 8 more drives. I'm running it on the NAS4Free system now just to make sure it's solid and so far it is very solid.
