I have a BARCO 808 with a 9 pin D shell port 3 input, the manual says this is a RGB input, I have a set top box with a 15 pin D shell as an output, with the appropriate gender changer will this work to give me TV pictures from the set top box?
Many thanks
Trevor

Hello
What is the signal format from the box? Which signal is on which pin for the box and the projector? You cannot randomly order a prefab cable and expect it to fit your situation.

Hi Tim in phoenix,
Many thanks for your reply, The set top box has variable output resolutions in both progressive and interlaced flavours all the way up to 1080p, I assume the output 15 pin is analogue as it will plug straight into a telly ( not very knowlegble about these things ) this is the info from Curts pages don't know whether this info relates to a pin layout on a stock standard 15 to 9 pin device.
Perhaps I am not understanding any of this correctly, but the pin numbers on the 15 pin side seem to relate to the 9 pin BARCO input.
Many thanks for your time
Trevor

That would be an RGBHV breakout cable for input 5 not not input 3.
