Anyone knows if splitter R762907 will work in the Cine9?
This splitter was/is intended for the 7xx Barco series.
thanks

Yes I have tried 7xx splitter on 909 and it works, I too believe all splitter are the same except for some slight signal cable to EHT sensing connections.

Hello again,
the new quad arrived today and i put it inside the Cine9.
Additional to that i checked the fuse of the EHT board and it was blown. I exchanged the bad fuse against the good one i have on my working BR909 EHT board. Set back the EHT board into its place.
After pushing the main power button on the back i can hear one pop ! I pushed the main button on the back again and disconnect from A/C.
Removed the EHT board from the Cine9 and the fuse (which was good some minutes ago) has blown again !
Does this mean that the Cine9 EHT board is completey dead or do i have SMPS (power issues) here ?
thanks very much

Hi,
This type isn't the right one. Use 2A/250V slow blow (Träge) instead.
If this fuse blows repeatedly, then the EHT Board is damaged (Power Transistor and/or Diodes shorted) and needs replacement or repair. The fuse's job is to protect the SMPS and most likely this board is OK.
Regards,

Is a ceramic fuse nescessary or does a glass fuse do the same job?

Don't think it makes a difference functionally. At least with the glass you can see whether or nots blown.

Glass fuse on the BR909 seems to work well thanks.
I did a compare of the sound level on both maschines in standby:
BR909 no sound at all which i think is correct
Cine9: some kind of constant noise. Could this come from a dead EHT board? Maybe SMPS?
@Curt: PM sent
thx

On my 909 the 2 fans extract air
your cine9, 1ventilateur extract, another breath INSIDE
I wonder if they have not been bad back on my 909???

Elpha is right. The left front fan on your Cine 9 is wrong mounted. Unlike most Barco projectors, where front fans are intake fans extracting air from the room and blowing on the electronics, Reality 909 and Cine 9 are designed with exhausting front fans. Room air enters the chassis between tubes and hot air is blown away thru the front-tray fans.
On the edge of the fans there are two arrows indicating the rotation direction of the blades and airflow direction. On NMB fans ( if not on all fans ), if you are facing the round middle-sticker, they supposed to blow air at you.
