Hello,

My Marquee is mounted over my head and although i've changed the fans to more silent ones it is too loud for me.

What i thought about is that is seems very unefficient for me that the fans are blowing upside down (because of the overhead mount) because of convection (warm air is rising)
My marquee is mounted on a wood construction so there is enough space to the celling. I have thought about switching the fans that they sucks the air through the projector and blow it upwards.

Would this be a good idea ?

regards

No, Not a good idea to reverse the flow.
I have tried the reverse air flow, all the temps went UP.

Do not do it.

Also be sure to not reduce the air flow, as you will have HDM problems with over temp.

Will try to find the thread that this was discussed.

Cheers
Steve
