Sorry for my English.
I have a Barco data 801S faulty.
I ramp a convergence parameter from 0 to 100 but nothing happens.
Convergence fails in red and blue. But only in the convergence of the sides.
No central convergence fails.
Curt says in Troubleshooting Tips “chances are there’s a problem in the output section”.
I can check the motherboard Easily?. How is dismantled? How is dismantled? Boat is necessary to lower the ceiling?

Any ideas? . Thanks.

It sounds like convergence output board problem, center point movement is done in other boards.

First try to remove and reconnect convercence tray to see if it is only connection problem.
You probably won't see if board is damaged or not.

Convergence tray can be pulled out from front...

Note!!!
If it looks like tray wont come out, check if there is heatsink next to green tubes neck (under controller board), there is two thump screws that need to be removed first. My BD801s have this extra heat sink, but some preseries 801s don't.

There are two styles to the 801 convergence board. Post a pix. I've got both in stock for cheap, cheaper than it would cost to repair yours.

Yes, please post a picture of the board, you can post that here. There were two types of boards, and I do not know if they can be interchanged.

Thanks!
