OK...I come from a custom PC building background and I used to add fans to systems in places that normally do not need it but I did it any way for peice of mind. In looking at the VV1 at the rear, I see vent holes on the neck board casing. Does air come out from there? Even still the back side circutry does not get any. And the same for the cards on the back panel. I am curious in adding three 80mm fans back there and adding vent holes to the rear part of the neck cards. Anyone have thoughts to this idea?

Hello
He means Vidikron Vision 1. The belly fans push air into the bottom and out the back of the tube covers, so the neckboards do get airflow. As for the rear heatsink, it benefits also from the forced air. I am not aware of any complaints from Vision owners that they are losing boards on the heatsink more than any other Marquee users. Boards on the heatsink all drive yokes on the tubes and are in line for hits by tube arcs, as are the HDM and focus boards.
