Do the 10PG yokes allow for the extra corner focus though?? The focus yokes on the PLUS are not the same as the ones on a Plain ( which you will both obviously know ).

Not sure about corner, but my PG10 could focus center and all 4 edges separately.

Though if you wanted the extra ASTIG function, you had to do the coil mods and add the astig board as well.
I never did this on mine, as for film it just wasn't needed.

My 9PG has 4 spearate edge focus as well. I think they all do!!

I wasn't sure on that one.... been quite a while since I had a plain PG. But the enhanced convergence menu, yes.

Anyway, no more CRT for me. Crying or Very sad

Ofcourse this is just my personal take on it all, but i wouldnt consider that work with the effort based on what i have seen, unless i had a ton of spare PLUS boards and not enough spare Plain boards.

As long as the Plain youre setting up has the PHASE adjustment, its pretty easy to get it right, just takes longer!! Wink
