Hello,
I have just installed the latest Moome card. Works great. Was wondering if anyone has this issue. When I play a non blue ray DVD of the movie Armegeddon which is in 2.35:1 format it projects as a much smaller image than any of the other formats which all fill the screen side to side. Ie I have pillars on each side as well as bars top and bottom. I tried increasing rgb size but it won't enlarge the image at all. All other DVD formats work great. Any ideas anyone?
Right now I Have set the pj up to play RGB in native format with the video memory presets turned off and all other formats work fine that way & are correctly sized. Even using other presaged formats like 16:9 make no difference to image size for the Armegeddon movie. Would be nice to know why this is occurring (perhaps something to do with DVD upcoming by blue ray player?) probably cheapest & easiest fix is to buy the blue ray version. I am suspecting this has something to do with the anomorphic widescreen format.
Thanks,
Andrew

If this is with DVD than you probably have the DVD player set wrong. There is a setting in the player somewhere for 16x9 wide versus "pan and scan." Find that setting and switch it.

I think I might have this figured out. I think the few DVDs I have with this problem such as armegeddon and lost in space are non-anamorphic widescreen. I think that is limiting the total size of the image.
