You'd be lucky to get anything to work from a website called 'made in china'.
Seriously Muttley, I know you're on a budget, but WAIT until you have the money to buy a name brand product. What happens if you buy something from China and it doesn't work out of the box? Do you really think you'll get any kind of customer support?

That projector is junk. It's one of the models that I see on Cragislist from time to time. Its commonly known as "White Van" junk. It's usually VGA or 800x600 at best, and if it works at all, it won't last. It's basically a 10-year old plastic-ified VGA or SVGA projector with a $49 (retail) Chinese media player front-end stuck on.
Here it is on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/280631442657
$169.99 if that tells you anything.
Stay far, far away.
There are now some entry-level name-brand projectors that are 3D capable in the $300-500 range. They're nothing to write home about, but I'd MUCH rather have one than wast time and money on junk. Acer has a couple of 720p DLP's for around $500, and if you're really on a tight budget, Viewsonic even has a $350 or so SVGA DLP that's 3D ready.

We don't know, because the specs online about the projector are complete fabrication in the first place.

So get it, and try it. That's about all you can do.

It's nice that it has HDMI, but that's still no guarantee of anything.
The manufacturer is intentionally vague, it's not a supported product sold by a well-known manufacturer, and there are ZERO specifications of any use in determine the compatibility. There's simply no way of anybody knowing whether the projector will work! You're going to just have to get one and try it. Period. End of story.
Still, I question the logic in doing so - even with the free projector! Without knowing one way or the other, I'd put money on the fact that there will be something about this projector that will make the experiment fail.
But, if you can get the projector for free, knock yourself out. That's the ONLY way I'd try it - if it were free.

as the price approaches free, the amount of time invested per dollar goes WAY up...so too does the risk it won't work as you hope. Fo course, maybe you'll get lucky and this thing is a sweet deal -- we'd all hope that for you. Problem is, they are right, no one can know.
I spent more time than I care to admit looking for GOOD review - just ONE person who said, "hey, wow, tolerable pic for $150"...I couldn't find one. That alone would scare me away. If you found a site that had 7 good reviews and 3 bad reviews, maybe roll the dice...but jeez. Of course, if it is free, why ask? Get it and see...
here is a link with someone giving 10 reasons to be leery as per above.

OK, you win. Yes, it will do it, it will work fine.
Why do you question when we try and help you? You seem to want your own answer, not ours. I'm done with answering your questions. Post away, but I personally won't respond.

Muttley, don't mistake will "support up to 1080i" as meaning will "display up to 1080i". Not true. It might very well have a 640x480 single LCD screen...and will thus display some sort of poorly mapped 480p.
